Living room in The Dupont Circle Hotel
The Dupont Circle Hotel exceeded expectations. At half the price of the other hotels I considered, the room was small but very comfortable for two people. The design of the room was superior: there is no art in sight, but rather, the wall behind the bed is a mosaic of wood and metal leaf. Dropped ceilings with down lights at the entrance and window wall ingeniously create alcoves for the coffee maker at one side and a daybed at the other. Striped carpeting complements the leather day bed by the shuttered window, and the headboard is covered in matching leather. The marble bathroom features a radiant stone floor. All controls (for shower, lights, blackout shades, and--most important to me--the thermostat, which turns on and off without the customary delay) are easy to use and intuitive. The room was carefully and thoroughly cleaned and straightened, exceptional in an era of alternate-day cleaning. And when I'd forgotten to remove the "Do Not Disturb" sign, most impressive was the text message asking me whether I wanted the room cleaned.

From check-in to check-out, every single interaction and attention to detail was top class. Staff are the friendliest ever. We were there for a week and everyone knew our names after day one. It made us all feel very special. Rooms were spotless and serviced efficiently daily. Interior design and furnishings are rich and oozing quality. Food & menus are thoughfully prepared, lovely fresh produce all cooked to order. Professional attentive service 24/7 by management, bar, wait, reception, room & door staff. Honestly couldn't fault a thing. There's a CVS across the street, and a wonderful food & farmers market on Sunday. The metro station is 50 yards away.. get yourself a smartcard & explore the city for $2 a ride.

I loved everything about my stay at the DuPont Circle Hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated having cable and premium channels. The staff were amazing, and the overall facilities were outstanding. I had surgery and knew that laying up in a bed for more than five days with just basic news channels wouldn’t be ideal. DuPont Circle Hotel definitely made my stay entertaining and super comfortable. The view from my room was amazing, and the cleaners were always on point. It was also nice to have a great restaurant onsite, along with plenty of other fantastic dining options nearby.

The hotel is in a great location overlooking Dupont Circle and our room overlooked it. Had a Junior Suite which was very spacious but bathroom was quite small and I wish it would have had a bath. Breakfast was great the first 3 days and the hotel is very busy Saturday and Sunday for Brunch so you need to go early or book. The last day I had it wasn't as good so don't know if it was a different chef. The bar is a very buzzing area and has a great view over the circle. Bar staff were very friendly and made great cocktails.

We stay in the Dupont Circle Hotel when we visit DC as it is invariably welcoming and comfortable. The staff are courteous and efficient, and the rooms are spotless and well appointed. We have everything we need; the hotel and the rooms are accessible for my wife who has mobility difficulties. The location is excellent; there is a lot in the immediate area and it is centrally sited on the Metro system. We enjoy eating in the Pembroke Restaurant which is a good place to meet friends for brunch at the weekend.
